AEC v1.0.4

The second half of the spring term is as action packed as ever. Our Orangutans and Tiger Cubs begin their forest school sessions, linked to the learning they are doing in class.

Our Penguins will also be doing lots of outdoor learning as they visit Burwardsley at the start of March for their residential. There are a number of class trips for the children in March too, including a trip to Chirk Castle for our Meerkats and a trip to Park Hall Farm for the Tiger Cubs.

Later in the half term, the children have two special weeks in school. The first is science week, where each class focuses on a scientific investigation. At the end of the week the children feed back their findings to the rest of the school in an assembly.

Following this, we have our YOUnique Me Week in school, when the children focus on diversity and respect for everyone’s differences, in whatever form or shape they may take.

It is a short but busy half term, with two class assemblies, when the Meerkat and Orangutan parents are invited to see the learning that has been going on in class.

Interspersed with all of this excitement, we also have lots of sporting events. Time to come up for air!

Please keep in touch with all of these events and many more through our monthly newsletter, which is accessible from the website too.
