AEC v1.0.4

The second half of the autumn term follows the busy schedule of the first half, with lots of exciting events planned. Our Tiger Cubs will be visiting Delamere Forest early in November, linked to their class theme. The Jaguars will be visiting Chester Storyhouse too, to see The Horrible Histories bring alive the Terrible Tudors! Later in November, they will be visiting Rudheath Academy for a careers fair. A great chance to gain insight into future work options. This is an event organised by North West Academies Trust. Our Orangutans will also be on the road in November when they visit The Science and Industry Museum.

Our Friends have two events organised this term. The first is the school disco, which will take place on November 14th. It will start at 6pm for the younger children and 7pm for the older ones. Later in the term, they have the highlight of the term, the Christmas Fair. This will take place on Friday December 6th from 5.30-7.30pm. Put the date in your diary!

There are a number of sporting events planned for the term too. Both our boys and girls will be taking part in local tournaments at Christleton High School. The third cross country race of the winter series also takes place during this half term. The children have performed well in the first two races and we look forward to more of the same.

There are of course lots of opportunities for parents to come into school and celebrate the work of the children. Tiger Cub parents are invited to a Stay and Play session. Parents across the school are welcome in to Share the Learning later in the term. Tiger Cub parents are also welcome into school to enjoy a school dinner with their child. We have a number of Christmas celebrations too. All of them this year will be taking place in the school hall and we look forward to packed audiences to celebrate the children’s performance skills and to share in the Christmas celebrations. They kick off on December 5th with our Meerkats and Penguins performance of Lights, Camel, Action! The two performances will take place at 2.15pm and 5.30pm.
