AEC v1.0.4

Our new term will begin on Wednesday September 2nd. We look forward to welcoming all of our children back to school. Ducklings and Tiger Cub families have received separate letters, outlining details of their transition dates at the start of the term.

Our Tiger Cubs first full day will be September 14th. Prior to that, they will be in school on a part time basis.

There are lots of exciting events planned for the children this term, despite some of the limitations as a result of COVID restrictions. Forest school sessions will begin again and this term our Otters and Komodo Dragons will be working with Jim in Forest school. These sessions will start on the 7th September.

Madame Ireland will also begin French lessons in school in September. She will start with our Orangutans and Jaguars before working with the Otters and Komodo Dragons, later in the term.

Mr Benson will also be starting his music lessons in school. He will be working with the children in Key Stage 2 to get them back in their musical groove!

AJ is also returning in September. He will be working with children across the school, improving their fitness and developing their skills across a range of sports.

Charity work still remains at the forefront of our plans. Our Jaguars are  organising a virtual coffee afternoon, to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support. Further details will be sent home, but get baking everyone! In October, we will be wearing a splash of yellow again to raise awareness of Young Minds, a mental health charity.

So there is still a lot going on at Acresfield for the children to enjoy this term. It is great to have everyone back to ensure our children continue to receive a creative and broad curriculum.
