Charity Work

I am very pleased to see the children at Acresfield working hard, while thinking of others. Our Jaguars are organising a remote coffee morning in support of MacMillan cancer care. There is clearly a lot of baking going on around Upton in preparation and I look forward to seeing how much money is raised. Great work Jaguars!

Our Meerkats are planning a remote Harvest event to support Save the Children and our local foodbank. They have asked for families to bring in dried and tinned food, which will be collected at drop off points at the school gates. The children will then be creating Harvest food parcels for the charities. Well done Meerkats!

All of the children can wear a splash of yellow on Friday October 8th in support of Young Minds #helloyellow day. This is an event that will promote the importance of a healthy mind and ensuring that everyone’s mental health is given priority in the same way our physical health is. We look forward to seeing lots of yellow in school.
